Description Christian Rose 2003-04-02 15:59:49 UTC
The anaconda text mode install crashes when using Swedish as the language and
right before the keyboard layout selection.

Possible cause of the problem:
The Swedish keyboard layout was renamed from "se-latin1" to "sv-latin1"
upstream. Anaconda has code for automatically preselecting the Swedish keyboard
layout in the list of keyboard layout choices when Swedish language has been
chosen. This code might not have been updated to point to "sv-latin1" instead of
"se-latin1". The anaconda traceback also seems to suggest this.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start installation
2. Select text mode install by typing "linux text"
3. Select "Swedish" in the list of language choices
4. Watch anaconda die with a traceback

Fixed in CVS.

Workaround:
Select english language, select swedish keyboard, go back twice, select swedish
language and continue as normal. The keyboard selection will then be set and
the installer won't try to fall back to its defaults.
