Description of problem:
The build progress bar on the wxWindows-based configtool does not display progress on either Windows or Linux hosts.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build any configuration of the eCos library using the configtool

    

Actual Results:  No progress bar is visible.

Expected Results:  Progress bar should appear to indicate build progress.
