Description RHEL Product and Program Management 2010-05-26 11:47:25 UTC

to be backported to 5.5 z-stream (EUS).

Comment 9 Alexander Todorov 2010-07-20 10:34:49 UTC
With mkinitrd- and /etc/multipath.conf looking like:

defaults {
        user_friendly_names yes
        bindings_file /etc/multipath/bindings

The resulting initrd.img contains the correct bindings file:

# zcat test.img | cpio -t | grep multi
30204 blocks

NOTE: The "=" character ( as in bindings_file = ... ) from is incorrect syntax. All example conf files from the device-mapper-multipath package show "bindings_file /path/to/file" syntax.

Moving to VERIFIED.
