Description plabonte 1999-10-11 16:37:03 UTC
the detection for PNP devices failes to detect Soundblaster
Live audio card. Is there a way to fix this or is there a
driver that will detect it?

Comment 1 Bill Nottingham 1999-10-11 16:39:59 UTC
If you'll grab the sndconfig from Red Hat 6.1, it will detect
the card, and then tell you that it's unsupported....

Creative Labs is unwilling to give out the programming specs for
the SB Live, so there is no open-source driver available. I believe
they have a binary-only driver available on their website; that
may or may not work for you.
