Description Phil Hale 2008-07-17 20:45:26 UTC
Description of problem:

nessus plugins are no longer offered for free. OpenVAS is a fork of nessus 2.x
that is under active development and looks to be a good alternative to nessus.

Comment 1 Andreas Bierfert 2008-07-17 21:08:34 UTC
Nessus plugins have never been part of fedora because of the license situation.
If you think OpenVAS should be part of fedora think about becoming a package
maintiner for it. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackageMaintainers
