Description of problem: lirc-0.8.3-1.fc8.i386 is missing, and so
lirc-0.8.3-1.fc8.x86_64 will not install as it conflicts with an already
installed lirc-0.8.2-2.fc8.x86_64+lirc-0.8.2-2.fc8.i386

So far as I know, you should *never* have ended up with both lirc.i386 and
lirc.x86_64 installed. The 32-bit lirc has no business in the x86_64 tree, the
repo is correct as-is. Remove the i386 one you have installed and be happy. :)
