Description Pavel Rosenboim 2008-06-18 08:51:16 UTC
Description of problem:
gparted is unable to resize a partition on logical volume. Error is:
e2label: No such file or directory while trying to open
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00p1.
Couldn't find valid system superblock.

It looks like it tries to open wrong device, correct device is
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gparted-0.3.7-1.fc10.i386
This is rawhide version, version from F9 behaves the same.

Comment 1 Deji Akingunola 2008-06-19 04:06:09 UTC
gparted currently doesn't have the ability to resize partition on logical volume.
