Description Neil Darlow 1999-07-07 12:25:06 UTC
When a ppp link comes up. The following messages appear in

  modprobe: can't locate module ppp-compress-21
  modprobe: can't locate module ppp-compress-26
  modprobe: can't locate module ppp-compress-24

Has ppp been built correctly?

For now, I have added the following to /etc/conf.modules:

  alias ppp-compress-21 off
  alias ppp-compress-26 off
  alias ppp-compress-24 off

it's normal - you need something like:

alias ppp-compress-21 bsd_comp
alias ppp-compress-24 ppp_deflate
alias ppp-compress-26 ppp_deflate
