Description of problem:
Sorry if this is a known issue, I did not see any entries against NTP similar.

Well, not really sure if it's a problem as much as an annoyance.
The issue is that the firewall "allowed port selection" in the installer has no
option for NTP, but firstboot allows you to turn on NTP.  As one might guess, it

You do not need to open the ntp port for ntp to work properly. The local ntp
process is initiating a connection to the time server, which is ok for the
