Description Zenon Panoussis 2007-03-19 14:11:38 UTC
Description of problem:

In a default out-of-the-box targetted/enforcing configuration, selinux does not
allow smbspool to do its job:

SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/smbspool (cupsd_t) "search" access to samba
(samba_etc_t). See audit.log for complete SELinux messages. id =
db59ca48-b5da-4203-9444-feacfb2cd239

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.4.3-8.el5

Additional info:
I don't have an RHEL5 box, so I can't tell if it's been fixed in the meanwhile.
It doesn't seem to be reported though.

Comment 1 Daniel Walsh 2007-03-19 20:17:09 UTC
This should be fixed in selinux-policy-2.4.3-9
