/bin/sh: line 1: msgfmt: command not found

How reproducible:
Try to rebuild without gettext installed.

weird -- the version I maintain in extras is 2.8-11, and it does have
buildrequires gettext. There's an old aumix in Core's CVS, but that was
orphaned/abandoned before I picked it up and added it to extras. Be nice
if there was an easy way to make that go away...

Sorry Gabriel. I didn't knew, aumix was moved to extras. I tried building it
from core cvs. However. I now know it's in extras and will build it from there. Thx!
