Description David Galloway 2019-04-04 20:15:43 UTC
Description of problem:
I discovered this problem while trying to install a package larger than 2GB.

yum fails with: [Errno 14] curl#63 - "Callback aborted"

Upon inspecting the package info, I found the size shows '-2085714488.0' via yum. repodata.xml shows 2209252808 however. The installed size according to yum is 0 and 'None' in repodata.xml

If I download the RPM manually and `yum localinstall` it, it installs fine and the installed size is 8.6 GB.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
createrepo 0.10.3-1

Install attempted on CentOS 7.6

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. cat <<EOF >>/etc/yum.repos.d/ceph.repo

2. yum clean all
3. yum install ceph-debuginfo

Actual results:
Downloading packages:
ceph-debuginfo-15.0.0-10.g2ba7 FAILED [Errno 14] curl#63 - "Callback aborted" ] 0.0 B/s | 0 B --:--:-- ETA
Trying other mirror.

Error downloading packages:
2:ceph-debuginfo-15.0.0-10.g2ba794d.el7.x86_64: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

Expected results:
Package installs

Additional info:
The repo listed in the reproducer will only last for 2 weeks. I can probably find another example where this occurs in the future if needed though.

I found but I'm guessing the issue is with createrepo since the installed size is 0. If it's actually yum, please accept my apologies and re-assign the bug.
