Description Raul Mahiques 2019-03-28 09:20:56 UTC
Description of problem:
At the moment the dynamic fields have to be defined using ruby scripts, this is good but for certain things such as listing VMs from a provider or networks, etc.. a simpler way could be implemented, similar to the 'Tag Control' field type a new type could be created that lists information available on cloudforms.
This could be down in different ways, two of this ways would be:
- Listing the ruby scripts in automate located in <domain>/dialogs/<dropdown|radio|checkbox|text-area>/

this way will also let the advance users develop/download their scripts that could be easily imported/exported and reused.

- Showing dropdowns in the same way as the user interface, ie.
UX designer select from drop-down the element "Compute", then another drop-down appears with the values "Clouds, infrastructure, ...", when the user selects "infrastructure" another drop-down appears with the values "providers, hosts, networks, .." and when the user selects one of them, ie. providers, the dialog will show to the end-user the list of 'providers' registered in cloudforms.
