Description Oscar Casal Sanchez 2019-03-22 16:51:10 UTC
Document URL:

https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.0/nodes/pods/nodes-pods-using.html

Section Number and Name:
########################
Nodes - About pods - Example pod configurations in OpenShift Container Platform

Describe the issue:
###################
In the example the point 5 indicates: "Each Container in the pod is instantiated from its own Container image.", but if I go to the POD Object Definition (YAML) the point 5 is linked to the ports pod definition.

Suggestions for improvement:
############################

Two possible options:
 1. Change the definition of the point 5 to indicate that it is referring to the container pods
 2. Add one line to the Pod Object Definition (YAML) like this:

  - image: quay.io/openshift/origin-logging-eventrouter:latest

Comment 2 Michael Burke 2019-04-01 19:15:51 UTC
Updated the call-outs. <5> is now "The Container specifies where external storage volumes should be mounted
within the Container...", which was previously <6>.
Added <6> to the `image:` parameter and updated the value to your image.

----
      volumeMounts: <5>
        - name: default-token-wbqsl
          readOnly: true
          mountPath: /var/run/secrets/kubernetes.io/serviceaccount
      terminationMessagePolicy: File
      image: quay.io/openshift/origin-logging-eventrouter:latest <6>

<5> The Container specifies where external storage volumes should be mounted
within the Container. In this case, there is a volume for storing the registry's
data, and one for access to credentials the registry needs for making requests
against the {product-title} API.
<6> Each Container in the pod is instantiated from its own Container image.
