Description Kenjiro Nakayama 2019-03-13 05:46:02 UTC
Document URL:
"This heketi service can run either standalone or containerized. Containerization allows for an easy mechanism to provide high-availability to the service."

Section Number and Name:
- Persistent Storage Using Red Hat Gluster Storage
  - independent mode

Describe the issue:
- Our docs says "This heketi service can run either standalone or containerized". But we do not support standalone heketi. (AFAIK)

Suggestions for improvement:
- We would like docs team to delete the line "This heketi service can run either standalone or containerized" and following several lines (if it is not supported.)

Additional information:
- As per KCS https://access.redhat.com/solutions/3737841, it states that it is not supported as "Note: Please, be aware that for OCP setups with a version higher than 3.6, Heketi must run in a POD."
