Description Jens Petersen 2019-03-07 10:46:17 UTC
Description of problem:
F29 has an older version of reg, which appears not to work well.
I tested the version in F30 and it seems to work fine, whereas
in F29 I get authentication errors...

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
reg-0.4.1-5.fc27 (that is the build in F29)

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. reg ls registry.fedoraproject.org

Actual results:
$ reg ls registry.fedoraproject.org
No auth was present in /home/petersen/.docker, please pass a registry, username, and password

NAME:
reg - Docker registry v2 client.

USAGE:
reg [global options] command [command options] [arguments...]
:
: <rest of help elided>
:
FATA[0000] No auth was present in /home/petersen/.docker, please pass a registry, username, and password

Expected results:
List of images in the registry (works fine with 0.15.5-2.fc30)

Additional info:
Does newer reg build in f29?
