Description Nicolas Mailhot 2019-03-01 14:26:19 UTC
Fedora Firefox uses the GNOME print dialog which is nice and pretty but, unlike the upstream dialog, it does not let users configure headers and footers

That makes firefox useless to print anything except draft pages, because the default headers/footers are terrible and fugly, especially on an A4 printer

(in some cases I have seen the stupid default header/footer break the printing of amazon return labels for example, because they add space amazon didn't account for in its return page)

I'm a bit confused as I see header/footer at "Options" tab and setting them to --- make them empty for me (I tired only print to pdf).

Can you post screenshot if the print dialog and of the "Options" tab please?

I see. The header/footer can be configured at "Print" dialog, go to menubar and select File -> Print and select your printer. Then switch to "Options" and configure the layout. It's in Gtk+ print dialog, not in the Firefox one.
