Description Skip Wyatt 2018-07-05 18:36:55 UTC
Description of problem:
Created a content view with multiple repositories, including 7server_x86_64 and Software Collections.

Created two filters one to include all rpms, then a second to include errata filtered by an updated on end date.

When the filter is set to June 11, 2018 glib2 will not be included in the Content view at all, When set to June 25th, glib2 will be included in the content view.

There are other dates that will also not include glib2.

The last date that glib2 was update was 2017-11-10 so why is it being exluced from the content view?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite 6.3.2

How reproducible:
Varies by date, no establish-able pattern so far.

I did a couple of tests around this and was unable to reproduce this particular case:

1. Fresh sync of RHSCL and RHEL 7.
2. New CV + V1.0 with RHEL 7 repo with a single filter to include all RPMs without errata. This resulted in a CV with 4403 packages, and glib2 was present.
3. New version with Include errata updated on 6/11/18. This CV had 20303 packages and more glib2 present.
4. New version with RHSCL added. Resulted in 30279 packages using same filters, glib2 still present.

I was not able to reproduce your issue.

For clarification on my filters:

1. Inlcude filter for RPMs with only 'Include all RPMs with no errata.' checked.
2. Include filter for errata by date with all errata type checked, date type of 'updated on' and end date set to 06/11/2018. Start date left blank.

Hi Skip,

Would it be possible to provide access to a reproducer?
