Description louisgtwo 2018-07-01 20:50:48 UTC
My system is running intel broadwell outputing displayport mst with 3 daisychained monitors.

All three monitors has audio out but only one has my speakers connected.

Control center sound output has:

HDMI / DisplayPort 5 - Built-in Audio
HDMI / DisplayPort 4 - Built-in Audio
HDMI / DisplayPort 2 - Built-in Audio

When the system boots I have to choose Displayport 4 to hear audio. When the monitors blank after inactivity I come back and I have to choose Displayport 2 to hear audio.

I don't know if PulseAudio or control center is responsible in assigning audio ports but this was working fine in F27
