Description Jason Tibbitts 2018-06-27 20:45:42 UTC
Just restarted my rawhide test VM and found that I can't mount kerberized NFS4 shares (specifically, my home directory) because rpc.gssd seems to crash at startup. Unfortunately it's been a while since that VM was last booted so I can't point at any obvious change.

I installed all of the requested debuginfo and gdb gave me the following:

Core was generated by `/usr/sbin/rpc.gssd'.
Program terminated with signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

This machine is running:

nfs-utils-2.3.2-0.rc1.fc29.x86_64
gssproxy-0.8.0-4.fc29.x86_64

Comment 1 Jason Tibbitts 2018-06-27 20:49:21 UTC
I suspect this will be fixed by [PATCH] Revert "gssd.c: Remomved a couple of warning errors" which was posted to linux-nfs 3.5 hours ago.

Comment 2 Jason Tibbitts 2018-06-27 23:35:47 UTC
I found that the patch was also committed to rawhide, so I built nfs-utils-2.3.2-1.rc2 in mock and it's working fine.
