Description Bill Nottingham 2005-05-09 20:48:57 UTC
Something isn't right, as the -debuginfo package is all of 13k.

Is this intentional?

1.9.100-1, FWIW.

I think we want --enable-symbols=yes here, rather than --enable-symbols=SMALL.
I've verified that will correclty not strip libraries when
--enable-symbols is yes/SMALL but there may be issues with SMALL still
elsewhere. We're likely to get collossal amounts of debuginfo though, even more
than 1.1.x.

Comment 2 Caolan McNamara 2005-06-02 11:44:05 UTC
I've noticed this and I don't get why I don't get a real debuginfo package, it's
probably something trivial (don't think it's SMALL) but it's a supreme pain in
the ass to figure out what's failing to generate the debuginfo.

Comment 3 Caolan McNamara 2005-06-09 09:41:03 UTC
well damn, the ooo make install is actually stripping it's own output.

Comment 4 Caolan McNamara 2005-06-09 11:03:26 UTC
will be fixed in >= 1.9.108-2
