Description Fabrizio 2017-11-29 16:20:56 UTC
Description of problem:

dnf install supybot-meetbot will install also python2-pygments-2.2.0-8.fc27.noarch.rpm

is this still needed or this package is no longer required after HTMLlog2 became
  default?

Comment 1 Fabrizio 2017-11-29 19:21:26 UTC
From http://meetbot.debian.net/Manual.html

Obsolete writers are:

HTMLlog1
Old HTML writer. This one requires the Python module pygments to be installed. HTMLlog2 was written to remove this dependency. HTMLlog2 is just as pretty as this is, and HTMLlog2 is configurable via CSS.

HTMLlog2
Writes the logs in a HTML-pretty, CSS-customizable way

Comment 2 Kevin Fenzi 2017-12-03 00:04:55 UTC
Quite right.

I've pushed this change to rawhide.

Likely we will be pushing a new version before too long once we gather all the various patches we want to include, so I will hold off a f27 update until then.

Thanks for the report.
