Notified dependencies has to be selected manually.

Description of problem:
Despite application's ability to resolve dependencies it is unable to select them itself as to be automatically installed like for comparison yumex-dnf did.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible – Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select manually packages from packages group Gnome to be installed )x86_64)
2. Select notified dependencies for installation manually.

Actual results:
Despite application is able to resolve dependencies it is unable to select them itself as to be automatically installed like for comparison yumex-dnf did.

Expected results:
Packages notified as required (dependencies) should be selected automatically and installed.

Additional info:
Initially system was installed from Fedora-Xfce-Live-x86_64-27-1.6.iso as virtual machine installed on disk. Gnome installation succeed by manual selection of packages.

Issue persists.

Could you please explain better which the problem is? i took the code from yumex-dnf so i'd expect same behavior on transactions.

IIUC what you mean that was managed by "always_yes" flag, you can set it in option dialog by enabling "Proceed without asking for confirmation".

Comment 3 Angelo Naselli 2018-01-27 11:51:06 UTC
The image you posted does show only that a package was required and could not installed or has not been found... but that is a packaging problem not a dnfdragora one as far as i can say

Comment 4 ricky.tigg 2018-01-27 15:33:41 UTC
I realise from Comment 3 and Comment 2 that some information expected to be part as 'Expected results' may have been missing; Here was meant: To operate like the application from yumex-dnf did. As an illustration, using Yumex, selecting the Virtualization packages group just as it in the list of available group, was enough to select automatically and therefore then install all required components. Check how it did that if already forgotten; That requires at most version 26 of Fedora for the package to be retrievable. It has the same operation mode as "dnf install @virtualization". With the tool dnfdragora its no longer the case.
