Reproducer for this issue

It has been reported that, with the current implementation of jboss-logmanager, there can be inconsistent behaviour for logging with the LoggingProfile component.

Support case: 01939006

The fix has been done in the following commit:

https://github.com/jamezp/jboss-eap/commit/313e7faf05aa7c971b619c66c2b85a9d316a237d

Comment 1 James Perkins 2017-11-21 16:41:59 UTC
Note that the change listed will slightly clash with https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1515939. If we change the commons-logging implementation we'll also need to add that module to the LOGGING_API_MODULES array.
