Description Justin Holmes 2017-11-16 08:05:17 UTC
Document URL: https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/3.6/dev_guide/deployments/advanced_deployment_strategies.html

Section Number and Name:

1) Load Balancing for A/B Testing

2) MANAGING WEIGHTS

3) ONE SERVICE, MULTIPLE DEPLOYMENT CONFIGURATIONS

Describe the issue:

1) Load Balancing for A/B Testing: there is a screenshot here of the webconsole which groups two deployments under a single route. following the steps does reproduce this web console

2) MANAGING WEIGHTS: some commands use capital letters for object names, e.g. oc expose svc/ab-example-A. This is not valid syntax and will fail. also, the edit step (#4) fails when I follow it exactly.

3) ONE SERVICE, MULTIPLE DEPLOYMENT CONFIGURATIONS: these instructions still seem to create multiple services

Suggestions for improvement:

Additional information:

I'd really like to get the web console behavior for 1). When fixing this, can we please start here and then move on to the other sections?
