Description Tom Stellard 2017-11-14 14:28:36 UTC
udev rules for /dev/kfd were recently committed to systemd's master branch on github. Would we be able to backport this to the systemd releases in Fedora (
f26, f27, and rawhide) ?

Without this /dev/kfd node is unusable for normal users.

The upstream commit is:
https://github.com/systemd/systemd/commit/f301622d840ae414e7f56c364fe9b035f3041539

And it depends on the new group and command line option added in:
https://github.com/systemd/systemd/commit/4e15a7343cb389e97f3eb4f49699161862d8b8b2

This fix was part of the upstream 236 release and is in f28, f29, and rawhide.
