Description Paul Armstrong 2017-11-05 03:49:40 UTC
Description of problem: foreman-prepare-realm requires and interactive login by an IPA administrator. This prevents clean automation with ansible. Allowing foreman-prepare-realm to determine if a kerberos credential already existed, or allow the passing of a principal and a keytab, or other such method would help in automating the configuration of a satellite server.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. try to automate foreman-prepare-realm with ansible

Actual results:
Security issues with piping passwords and/or file contents to the executable.

Expected results:
Simple and seamless methodology for passing credentials to foreman-prepare-realm

Additional info:
Really a generalized set of ansible playbooks is required to completely install and configure Satellite.
