Description of problem:

After installing deja-dup from packages, the deja-dup-monitor (e.g. described here https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/DejaDup/HowItWorks ) and deja-dup-applet ( https://manned.org/deja-dup-applet/cb8cc209 ) executables are not available on the system.

I've realised that deja-dup-monitor is actually installed but outside the PATH, in /usr/libexec/deja-dup/ , is that intentional?

No news about deja-dup-applet .

Yes, that's where it should be.  deja-dup-applet has been deprecated.
