Description emil 2016-07-19 15:47:25 UTC
Description of problem:

when waking computer from hibernation it freezes with a black screen after the splash screen.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
happens every time i hibernate unless i blacklist the amdgpu kernel module

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run "systemctl hibernate"
2. wait for computer to go in to hibernation
3. wake computer

Actual results:
freezes with a black screen after the splash screen

Expected results:
waking from hibernation and showing lockscreen

Additional info:
i can still reboot the system using sysrec+R,E,I,S,U,B but i cant change tty.

this dose not happen if I blacklist the amdgpu kernel module and only use my integrated intel graphics, then hibernation works as expected every time.

Hardware info:
Lenovo Thinkpad E460

CPU: Intel i7 6500U
Intel GPU: Intel HD Graphics 520
AMD Gpu: AMD Radeon R7 M360

Let me know if you need any more information or want me to test anything!

Kind regards

You chose the wrong component.
