Description Calvin Hartwell 2016-07-18 09:42:09 UTC
Description of problem:

Customer wants to change the port on which docker registries are exposed (port 5000).

This can be accomplished by modifying the 03-crane.conf file in /etc/httpd/conf.d/ and changing the port on the virtual host from 5000 to another number (lets say 4000).

The port may need to be updated again in selinux if selinux is used:

# semanage port -a -t http_port_t -p tcp 4000

If the katello installer is rerun, the config changes are obviously overwritten.

How reproducible:

Easy to reproduce, it is currently functionality that is missing and unsupported.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Satellite 6
2. Modify Ports
3. Restart Katello
4. If katello installer is re-run, the config will be changed.

Actual results:

Customer has to modify config to change port.

Expected results:

Customer wants to be able to set port but can't very easily.
