Hi Artur,

thank you for your bug report. I tried to reproduce this on 3.20.4, but without success. These are the steps and my settings I used. Please try to correct them with your values or steps.

Composer/General settings under Preferences:

Format messages in HTML mode -> not checked
Reply style -> Quoted
Start typing at the bottom on replying -> not checked
Keep signature above the original message on replying -> not checked

I have an IMAP account with a newly created default signature set.

1. Select some existing HTML message
2. Press Ctrl + R
3. Select "Don't lose formatting"
4. Press Return 2 times so I will have two empty lines on the beginning of the message
5. Write "example text" there
6. Select another signature from the signature combo box
7. Signature is changed to the selected one and the position is not changed

Can you please use the steps that I wrote?

I forgot to mention that following setting:

Keep signature above the original message on replying -> checked

is essential to reproduce this bug :)
Unchecking it is some kind of workaround, but not acceptable in my company where outlook is main client for exchange.

Regards
Artur

That was really essential :). The bug is fixed with the following commit[0] that will be included in Evolution 3.20.5 (which will go into F24 as an update) and also Evolution 3.21.4+
