Description Alex Szczuczko 2016-07-12 16:57:44 UTC
When testing the newly separated EAP/DV patch systems, I found that the only thing that prevented a clean (no override prompt) apply of the EAP cumulative patch bundle was the modified version.txt file in the server root.

The simplest thing to do is have separate files. I've already added version-dv.txt with the appropriate content to the DV assembly zip. Now the installer needs to stop appending that information to version.txt.

I don't see version.txt mentioned in our documentation, so a docs update for this may not be strictly required.

Version.txt is no longer modified by the installer going forward.

Comment 3 Filip Elias 2016-08-04 11:47:50 UTC
version.txt is not modified in CR1.
