screen: IE11 - broken layout

Description of problem:
Layout of the welcome page and login page is broken in Internet Explorer 11.
Firefox 45+ and Chromium 50+ look ok.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhevm-4.0.2-0.2.rc1.el7ev.noarch
ovirt-engine-webadmin-portal-4.0.2-0.2.rc1.el7ev.noarch

Browser:
IE11 (Windows 2012 R2)

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the welcome page (/ovirt-engine/).
2. Then go to the SSO login page (/ovirt-engine/sso/login.html).
3.

Actual results:
1. See attached screenshot - upper part:
The text sections are aligned to 1 column, although there is plenty horizontal space (the screen is 1440px wide).
The background image tiling does not look nice.
2. See attached screenshot - lower part:
Login form input fields are off-screen - I put 'abcdefghijklm' as User Name, but the 'abcde' part is not visible.
Weird background image tiling again and Red Hat logo alignment.

Expected results:
Correct layout without any of the problems above.

Additional info:
I see that similar "compact" layout view is applied when the browser window size is smaller than 768px.
However in IE11, it is displayed even in a maximized browser window of a 1440x900px screen.

Your internet explorer is corrupted. I had 2 VMs with IE11, in one I was having the issues, and in the other it worked as expected. Once I followed the following and reset my IE, it started working on my 'broken' IE as well.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17441/windows-internet-explorer-change-reset-settings

Please reset your IE as explained in the above link and you will see it works fine.

Indeed, I tried again with a fresh Windows 8.1 machine & IE 11
and the page layout is fine. Same with Win 10 & Edge 20.
Thanks for the tip with settings reset.
