Description Adam Litke 2014-01-23 19:52:54 UTC
Description of problem:
While it is possible to add a new QoS entity associated with a Network, it is not possible to view details about existing QoS entities or remove old/unneeded ones.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ovirt-engine-backend-3.4.0-0.5.beta1.fc19.noarch

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click the 'Networks' tab
2. Select the 'ovirtmgmt' network
3. Click 'Edit'
4. Scroll down to 'Host Network QoS' and click 'New'
5. Complete the dialog and click 'OK'

Actual results:
The new QoS entity is created but it is not possible to view its details or remove it again.

Expected results:
There should be options to view and delete the network QoS entity.

There are two parts to this:

1. Having edit/remove buttons - we were trying to avoid enabling complete DC QoS administration through the network dialog, that's why we originally opted not to add these buttons, and I don't think we'd like to change that at the moment.

2. Concerning the ability to see the parameters of different QoS configurations, originally I discussed this with Eldan and we figured it would be too detailed for this dialog. If we see that this becomes a common request, I suggest to reopen this bug and maybe add some tooltip info.

So closing the bug for now, but it might well be re-opened in the future.
