Here is the trace of the core generated by traceroute.

I recompiled the source.

The command is "traceroute -i ppp0"

Traceroute -s <ip.adress>

with the IP adress associated with ppp0 does work.

traceroute -i sl0 does work

Strange (I use diald).

I believe this problem has been fixed in traceroute-1.4a5-16 available
in Raw Hide. Please reopen this bug if that package does not solve
your problem.
