Description of problem:
Lately ntpd (ntp-4.2.4-3.fc6) has started writing the following messages into syslog upon shutdown:

Feb  7 17:26:04 localhost ntpd[3228]: ntpd exiting on signal 15

This gets picked up by logwatch generating the following warning:
