Description RHOS Integration 2014-02-06 05:11:14 UTC
Cloned from launchpad blueprint https://blueprints.launchpad.net/neutron/+spec/tcs-fwaas-netconf-host-plugin.

Description:

This blueprint aims to provide a host-plugin for supporting orchestration and configuration of a virtual edge firewall appliance in an Openstack cloud. Quantum firewall commands would be extended to instantiate and configure the virtual appliance. The solution uses NETCONF as the interface for configuring the firewall policies. It is required to extend the existing API's (like create-firewall) . Horizon would also be updated to allow configuring the firewall-policies.
