Description Frederic Hornain 2014-01-11 17:20:26 UTC
Description of problem:

In the "5.8.7.1. Installing the Management Console" of the "Deployment_Guide" of "Openshift 2.0" it is mentioned we should find "SESSION_SECRET" and "SESSION_SECRET" variable in the /etc/openshift/console.conf by default.
Which it is not the case.

Comment 2 Julie 2014-01-20 05:59:30 UTC
This section is now updated in the Deployment Guide 6.9.7.1.

"After the Management Console is installed, configure the SESSION_SECRET setting in the /etc/openshift/console.conf, which is used for signing the Rails sessions. Run the following command to create the random string:
# openssl rand -hex 64"
